Doug has experience in all areas of family law including divorce, custody and parenting time, child and spousal support, paternity, guardianship, step-parent adoption and representation of parents in child protective proceedings. He also provides representation in general civil litigation, including wrongful termination of employment, and in defending against criminal charges.

Doug grew up in Jamestown Township. After completing law school, he moved to Holland where he lives with his wife and four daughters. He and his family are active members of 14th Street Christian Reformed Church, where Doug has served on the church council and taught Sunday School.
