Matthew C. VanHoef

Matt specializes in environmental law and has since the 1980s. He assists clients with tax-advantaged brownfield redevelopment and helps clients solve concerns related to environmental issues in the ever-changing regulatory environment.

Matt counsels clients regarding environmental issues including those arising in connection with brownfield redevelopment, real estate, regulatory matters, liability protection and resolution of environmental contamination and related claims. Matt also specializes in the regulatory and legal aspects of municipal wastewater treatment and related public-utility matters. His municipal clients in this field include the Grand Haven-Spring Lake Sewer Authority, the North Kent Sewer Authority, Allendale Charter Township and the GRSD Sewer Authority.
