Areas of emphasis/expertise:
Scott's experience is concentrated in the areas of local units of government, labor relations and civil litigation. He assists municipal clients on numerous topics, including zoning and land use, contractual issues, personnel, internal investigations and prosecuting municipal offenses. In the area of labor relations, he represents clients in the collective bargaining process and grievance arbitrations. His extensive courtroom experience has been developed in federal court and state courtrooms throughout the State of Michigan.

Personal:
Scott and his wife Stacy are constantly on the go with their three daughters. He enjoys reading with his daughters and going on family walks. When he manages to find a few free minutes, Scott also enjoys running and golfing.
Community Activities:
Scott served as an ambassador for the Muskegon Chamber of Commerce for a lengthy period. He thoroughly enjoyed his time serving on the board of directors for the Muskegon County Museum. He also actively participated in the allocation process for the Muskegon United Way through two funding cycles.
