Chris is an associate with a firm that takes great pride in the careful advice and counsel he provides to clients. Before joining Scholten Fant, Chris worked in-house for a large insurance broker and as a civil and commercial litigation attorney in Grand Rapids where he worked on several cases involving contractual, employment, and governmental disputes.

Currently, his practice revolves around real estate transactions and counseling businesses, entity formation and structure, corporate governance matters, sales, acquisitions, M&A transactions, and other commercial transactions. He is experienced in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing agreements and contracts of all types, including entity formation documents, distribution agreements, real estate purchase and lease agreements, commercial agreements, stockholder agreements, and licensing agreements, amongst others.
