Leah practices in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and elder law. For nearly 20 years she has worked closely with clients to develop personalized estate plans that reflect individual goals and provide long‑term peace of mind.
Leah’s experience includes Medicaid eligibility and Medicaid planning, as well as patient rights, advance directives, and guardianships. This background enables her to offer practical, informed guidance to individuals and families navigating complex estate planning and care‑related decisions.
Leah is valued for her thoughtful, client‑centered approach and her commitment to helping clients understand their options and make well‑informed legal decisions at every stage of life.

Leah practiced law in Iowa for eight years before returning home to West Michigan to join the team at Scholten Fant. She now resides in the Grand Haven area with her husband and three children.
